Maan smiled “toh badla le liya na tumne” she turned her back to him, her hand on her chest, folded

Maan came closer “Ok, it will never ever happen again” Geet smiled on his pampering “Now go get fresh. You are a mess. I will put the lunch” faking her anger

Maan left to get his change of clothes, he saw his closet was arranged in its own way, Geet’s way. Smiled crept on his face “Pagli” he shook his head.

Maan was in shower, Geet arranging the table for their lunch but her mind was all over him. She was smiling with her own acts… It was so tough to hold, him being so near and they alone in the house.

She heard washroom door clicked opened in other room. Hear heart ran with anticipation.

“Geet focus on lunch. What will he think about you. Behave” she scolded herself

Maan on other side was getting naughty ideas – He placed his jeans On and with towel around his shoulders

“Geet need help” he shouted. Geet as if got the excuse to go to him, she rushed “What happened?”

But stood still at doorstep, gapping at the sight and taking the fresh fragrance that the room filled with his cologne.

“Now close your mouth and help me” he said with serious face, smiling within.

“Hmm” she shook her head “Help with what?”

As she approached towards him, shaking within he seductively approached her, hit her with his bare chest on her shoulder

“Select for me what should I wear on top” Geet was red with shyness, her lips were shaking.

“Don’t trouble me, lunch is ready, you get ready and come out”

“Ok fine. I am ready then. Chalo let’s have lunch now.”

“Do you have any shame or not” he bent and looked at her face “Not really. You will get better ideas once you remove my boundaries” he said in his husky voice.

Geet without speaking, went to the cupboard and selected the fine material, light blue shirt for him.        

“Get this On and be quick” said without looking at him.

“Pehna do.. uss din to pehnaya tha” he said seductively. Geet was shaking already with his masculinity pouring in front of her

“Why your hands don’t work” she said, smiling with her shaky lips and red cheeks

“Hand, mind, heart nothing…” he was going On when she placed her hand on his lips “Bas” sending thousand ripples within Maan.

She snatched the shirt from his hand and helped him wear it. Geet was shaking badly, her legs were badly weak. She came in front to place his buttons when he placed his head on hers

“Hata do na bandishen saree…. Or else it’s going to cost you only” Geet did not say, nor moved just kept putting his buttons one by one slowly. His forehead on hers, his breath fanning her whole face and his fragrance teasing all her senses.

She then dragged him to dining table

Geet served him and herself. After few bites “Geet, pass the water please. Fast”

“Why food is not good” Geet asked worried “Food is very nice. Pass the water please” Maan said with teary eyes

She handed him the glass of water. Maan drank and shied in relief

“Theekha hai” she asked concerned “Yeah bit” Geet felt relieved but wanted to confirm once again

“Only bit, right?”

“actually bohut… you eat this spicy?” Geet turned other side, feeling bad

“Geet its nice, actually very nice only bit spicy as per my taste… abb jhut bolun tumse?”

“You liked that day” she complained “That day I ate paratha with sweet you made… nahi pata chala”

Geet served him sweet she had made. Maan ate the lunch with sweet.

“Geet it was really tasty… you cook so good. Sorry for my reaction that time” he held his ears

She removed his hands from his ears “You can say anything to me… We don’t need formality here”

“Hmmm.. we will work midway… I will learn to eat bit spicy and you can learn to place bit less spice…”

They kept looking at each other for long… cherishing their sweet unique relation. Both wanted to give so much to their relation.

Geet then cleaned the plates and all. Maan tried to help but Geet did not let him do anything

“I know you are not used to do these things. Don’t try to change for me. I like the way you are”

She turned to him “I love doing for you” she had tears as she felt so emotional. He wiped her tears and teased “This little touch is allowed… right?” She smiled and hit him

Later Maan dropped her bit far away from her home and she walked to her house.

Geet reached home at normal office return hours so none questioned her about her whereabouts. Geet was obviously relived when Nandu took her to terrace for chit chat, she happily went as she definitely needed to get over his magic hovering all over her.

They had nice chat and later dinner with family. Geet retired to her room and in her world of Maan.

Ohh he has become her whole world. She shied as she realized, it was now getting impossible to resist him. She wanted him to soon find the truth about her and take out all reactions.

His reactions, it scared her “Ohh Babaji…. Please don’t make him regret this closeness of ours. Make him accept me as I am.. please Babaji”

She looked up to complain and confess “What do I do? I tried so much to stay away from him, not let him come close to me. But this heart it makes me so helpless. What do I do with this sinful heart which rises with desires in his presence beyond my control”?

She cried “Please Babaji, I tried but failed. I pulled him in my desire before him knowing anything. I hope he does not regret this closeness. Do not punish him for my deeds, please.”

As if her feelings reached him and Maan’s eye went on Geet’s gift which he was yet to see.

He took the file and sat on the bed to open the special gift. Maan opened the file and found the hand done sketch in the hard sheet.

It was not the material but the sketch itself that shook Maan. He kept looking at the sketch horrified, as if the world slipped from his leg.

What was this? Are they so connected? He had always felt the connect between them to be something beyond but this sketch proved it.

He kept looking and looking at the sketch. His heart ached, with this sketch Geet has handed her whole self to him. But was he worth it? He doubted his own self. The sketch proved that the damage has miserably been done and he had not reached on time. What had happened to Geet, he was now hell scared of her past.

The sketch was almost exact replica of his nightmare… his shadow on one side, destruction in between and Shade of Geet on other side. Pair of hands, her hands, handling him her whole self to him, even after destruction and her red heart was floating towards him. She has handed her everything to him. That’s what the sketch spoke so loudly.

Maan was shaken from within, he had sleepless night. What does that all mean. He can’t delay anymore. He tried to think and think, there must be some clue that can lead him to any direction of her truth. It must really be something painful thus she did not have courage to tell him. No he will not involve her, he has to do all on his own. He kept thinking of any link. LINK – Ohh that was it.

How was he linked to her – 1^st Land purchase and then Job. Job cannot be as he is involved in it from beginning. That left him with Land. He pressurized his brain. Ohh Shit – he remembers now, Brij’s first hesitation came up with Land audit.
